Τhe development of transport facilities and services of all kinds in the built or natural environment is the basic issue studied in Transportation Planning. Transportation Planning is a laborious procedure involving goal setting, examination of alternatives and final plan development, while simultaneously takes account of the influence of different factors, such as other transport means, the environment, land uses and policies about other aspects of social life.
