Development of Core and relevant applications for the Data Management and Processing Node of the Hellenic Institute of Transportation (H.I.T)

The specific project is undertaken by OTENET ( a Hellenic Telecommunications Organisation subsidiary) and lasts for 6 months. TRIAS SA has established cooperation with OTENET. TRIAS SA in the framework of this project has to fulfill the following activities:

• Provision of consulting services in issues of Transport Planning
• Develoment and Maintenance of the Routing, Traffic Forecasting, Simulation and Infomobility Subsystems
• Provision of training services

This project has significant scientific  importance, since, for the first time individual, non-expert users will have access and use (with different pricing and access permission) transport software

Software and Applications Development and unification of User Information System of Thessaloniki Ring Road (Eastern Sector)

This project is of great importance, as it carried out in the most heavily circulated road axis of Thessaloniki Conurbation. Traffic volumes on the Thessaloniki Ring Road  are expected to grow a lot more during the following years, because of the implementation of other important projects in Thessaloniki (namely Thessaloniki Metro and Submerged Tunnel). The need to establish a User Information System (that will be realised through 5 Variable Message Signs -VMS- and a dedicated webpage) is mminent. The same is valid for  traffic surveillance and management  (that will be realised through 22 CCTV cameras)

The contractual oblligations of TRIAS in the framework of this project include:

•  Development and customisation of software/ cross-check / Documentation and User Training

•  System Uniifcation/ applications development/ trial period
